What to Expect
Mark Turauskis has been playing a unique blend of blues, folk and roots music since the mid-eighties solo and in the company of The Brickbats, Rootdogs and Bouzouki Bellows! High points have included main stage Saturday night appearances at the Bracknell, Pontardawe and Christchurch festivals as well as sessions for BBC Radio 2 live from their Paris theatre, London and Pebble Mill in Birmingham. He has gigged in Denmark, played in Italy and toured Brittany twice.
He has released thirteen solo albums ranging from the blues based ‘From Blues to Rembetika’ to the traditional English ‘Folksongs and Ballads’ and has even released an album of early and medieval music with Charles Spicer ‘The Old Roads’.
